Since the launch of the new District Website I have seen a few new websites cropping up from groups within the district.
Check them out here:

Please note that the date originally set for the Extra-ordinary General Meeting has had to be changed to Saturday 21st January 2012. This will coincide with the revised date for the District Training Day originally planned for 6th November. The Executive Seminar will still be held on 6th November in 3rd Sudbury Scout HQ. Members of the Executive Committees and GSLs/GCs were also encouraged to attend but the has only been one entry from Sudbury District. If anyone else wishes to attend, please contact me without delay. First Response training will be held at Clare HQ on 6th November and the registered participants have already been informed..
Message from Carl Reeder – 11th Ipswich
Two brand new activities have been inspired, developed and created by the 11th Ipswich Scout Group.
You can now be a player in the Human Football table where you become the plastic man. Challenge other scout groups to a game!
And you can now wobble your way to the top of 22 milk crates…
Other activities could be introduced like orienteering, low ropes, snake pits, team see-saws, Giant Jenga, Draughts, Chess, Assault courses, etc… I would like to challenge other groups to help me make Hallowtree even more exciting and sponsor an activity either with money but probably more importantly time and effort. Not all the activities have to cost loads to implement, some simply need someone within a group who is passionate about scouting to make a difference.
